Welcome to the before and after photos of interior painting in Victor, NY

As usual, the customer sent us photos of the stairs and fireplace mantle, wanting to get a quote. After looking at it, we knew what needed to be done to bring those dreams to reality.

In our painting proposal, we recommended the following: Light sand the wood trims and railings, apply one coat of primer, add siliconized caulk where needed and paint.

After sanding the imperfections with sandpaper of 600 grit and 800 grit, a nice and even coat of white primer was applied to the areas to be painted white, and a coat of some type of pink-colored primer to the areas going brown.

The following day, after the primer and caulk were fully dried, the painting began. It took one coat of primer and two coats of paint to bring those beautiful colors to life. Some areas took three coats of paint, including the fireplace mantle.

Using a Wooster 2-inch Shortcut Angle brush, multiple coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Trim Enamel paint were applied, following the direction of the texture of the wood to obtain a natural, professional finish. For some hard-to-reach areas, we used a tiny craft paintbrush.
